I used to have a horrible relationship with my Dad, pretty much the same situation your in it sounds like. I think you should ask yourself why he is so irritating to you, what is it that he does or doesn't do that makes you angry? Stuff like that. I still don't have a wonderful relationship with him, but it's easier when your away from home to get along....

My dad and I speak friendly enough, but if I don't call or visit my parents, they forget they have a daughter.
Ever since my father-in-law passed I don't really have a parent or grandparent for my kids anymore.
If you can, reconcile. Remember, to error is human to forgive is divine... good luck..

yes i honestly dont like him, he would call the cops on me when i was younger, and now hes trying to make me sign papers over my child, it sucks, i moved three hours away from him, so i can start all over with my life.
