Fondant is a process. It starts with making a sugar syrup that has glycerine added to it and it is worked on a marble board as it cooled. Eventually it is kneaded until it is like dough. It's not for a beginner or an intermediate cook or baker. You must understand sugar temperatures and crystallization to do it properly. It is fairly difficult as well as time consuming to make. You can purchase it for Maid of Scandinavia. http://www.maidofscandinavia.com/
