My mom held me back in the 6th grade. It was extremely difficult at the time. Now in hindsight, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. It allowed me to catch up maturity wise. I was a class clown, and never studied. As I got older the benefits started to reveal themselves. Plus I could drive earlier than everyone too.You can make positives out of everything, but I understand what you are going through.

you'll have to redo the year over again. if the work is getting too hard and youre falling behind, either put more time into it, or ask the teachers for help. they always like when a student is putting forth extra effort. if you feel like youre having problems with the work, maybe you should find out if youre ld or something. maybe somethings holding you back, and with extra help, you can move on.

do your best in school
forget your love life and concentrate on your education first
trust me it'll work and you won't get held back
