ag·nosti·cal·ly adv.
Word History: An agnostic does not deny the existence of God and heaven but holds that one cannot know for certain whether or not they exist. The term agnostic was fittingly coined by the 19th-century British scientist Thomas H. Huxley, who believed that only material phenomena were objects of exact knowledge. He made up the word from the prefix a-, meaning "without, not," as in amoral, and the noun Gnostic. Gnostic is related to the Greek word gnsis, "knowledge," which was used by early Christian writers to mean "higher, esoteric knowledge of spiritual things"; hence, Gnostic referred to those with such knowledge. In coining the term agnostic, Huxley was considering as "Gnostics" a group of his fellow intellectuals"ists," as he called themwho had eagerly embraced various doctrines or theories that explained the world to their satisfaction. Because he was a "man without a rag of a label to cover himself with," Huxley coined the term agnostic for himself, its first published use being in 1870.

I consider myself agnostic..the short definition is "I don't know"
agnostic=I don't know
I am not comfortable laying claim to atheism nor do I plan to join a church.

So your definition is incorrect.
nice try at backdoor proselytizing though.

As you said, agnostics do not have a knowledge of God but that is by choice. If I have a knowlodge of God then I am not agnostic. You are also right when you say that all religions claim to have a better knowkedge of God than anyone else. However, most religions do not worship the same God. There is only one God. Yahweh. Not Mohamed, not Buddah. Not anyone else. So, does being an agnostic mean that you don't have a knowledge of God or that you don't have a knowledge of ANY god?

The definition of an Agnostic is someone who only believes in knowledge that is based upon provable facts ... and because the existence of God cannot be proven by facts... they do not believe in God.

Agnostics may have knowledge of God, but they don't have FAITH in God or... in a more common way of saying it... they don't believe in the existence of God because it is not a provable fact.

Religion is not based on KNOWLEDGE about God... it is based on FAITH in God. The words... "about" and "in" are very important in the implications of this last sentence.
