Whatever, if I understand you correctly, American folks work pretty hard ...I guess they have worked hard enought to make the USA a better place to come and live than folks eslewhere in the Americas (Mexico etc.) I immagine they (Latinos) COULD BE the backbone of America, they certainly procreate more so than most and numbers dominate in most situations.
It's a funny thing. When I was growing up, I remember the image of a latin (I imagine it was a Mexican by the looks of it) It was a little sleeping hombre, with his head/sombrero tipped forward,leaning against a cactus catching some Zzzzzzzz's. It was highly racist of course, it was meant to indicate this was a sign of laziness. "Manjana" I'll Do the work tommorrow. Whatever happened? Did the work ethic change?
I have to admit the Latins I know are hard workers for the most part. But I also have noticed, they don't work as hard as they used to. They want sodas, and tips and rides to and from work, etc. I guess maybe the work ethic is changing yet again. Wonder where it will end up? Maybe back under that cactus for a littel nap between those "days without Gringos". Whatever our failing here in the US, I have to believe we are as good as most of the world, if not better in our work habits. Look around you! It's why those illegals you support wanna come here! No?

When you draw a distinction between yourself by referring to yourself as a "Latino" you serve only to remove yourself from the greater family of America. Americans are now,and always will be the "backbone" of America. When you say "illegal supporter" I am sure you are making a stand for all "Latinos' right?...So I should gather that you are also for the illegal activities carried out by drug families in Mexico and other "Latino" countries.

I am not against Mexicans, one of my best friends is here on a work visa from Mexico, and he is the nicest person, and works very hard for him and his family. There is nothing wrong with people wanting to have a better life. I think something needs to be done about immigration, we just can't keep letting people in, I know this. But, the people coming in are not all bad, just because they are here illegally does not make them a bad person. They help support our economy, they pay into the social security and even pay taxes, not all of them, but a lot of them. And when you want to stop and think about who is scamming america, I can almost bet you there are more americans on welfare, more americans commiting crimes, we are hurting our own country everyday. As the bible says, let him who is without sin cast the first stone!!

I don't think I can support criminals being the "backbone of America" (referring to the illegals you mentioned). Also, I am very surprised at you. All Latino's are NOT illegal, Some are American citizens. I'm sure they don't appreciate your tone here. I wouldn't if I were them.

I think one of the most selfish things in america is what I hear about how most people(usually middle to upper class people) don't like the idea of illegal immigrants, how would you feel if you had no opportunities in life and really wanted to make an effort to go to a different country and learn a different language, in order to have what is best for your family, growing up I always thought america was built and founded by people that wanted to escape their home countries and start a new beginning...the USA spend alot of money on stupid stuff......how selfish can you be to think it is right to deny people a proper health care and schooling....especially if immigrants work hard for what little money that they make... seriously people need to stop taking the united states for granted and they need to welcome any and all immigrants with open arms....that is as long as they are doing the best they can to make ends meet. the usa has tons and tons of money, more than enough...if the super wealthy americans would quit buying things they don't need.....such as homes worth hundreds of millions of dollars and other things you can only dream of, then maybe ...just maybe people would stop worrying about health care and welfare costs, cause it ain't all that much to ask....I dunno, growing up I was under the impression that this was the land of the free and home of the brave....
