Don't fight over stupid things
If you do drink, which I do not encourage, don't drive
If you plan to do any other deeds, which again, I don't encourage, be smart, use protection.
Take pictures, trust me, these are the best moments of your life, capture them.

Don't take your date to the prom in your dad's old "fishing" car like my prom date did with me. We still ended up having a great time but there was poles, bait and tackle in the back seat that stunk horribly. We drove to the prom in the stench of it because there was no a/c and I didn't want to roll the windows down and wreck my hair.

dude, save yourself a shitload of cabbage. take yer chick out to a drive-in movie and dinner at sonic instead. you can have just as much fun, yet at a WHOLE lot less money than hiring a limo and paying for that obscenely overpriced 'dinner'. prom at my school runs up to 350 bucks when it's all over with. my plans: pick my girl up in my truck, cruise over to sonic, pick up some food and head to a drive-in. price: 50-60 depending on how bad my truck's running at the time(gas money)

Keep it clean and stay sober so you can actually remember it and some day you can even tell your kids what a fun time you had. Most schools now adays have an all night bash at school and my daughters (all 3) really enjoyed it there.

Don't eat too much food, otherwise you might end up sick and in the bathroom all night. Also, don't drink too much. In fact, don't drink at all. It'll be a much more memorable experience if you can actually remember what happens.
