get a flexible tape measurer.

1. Measure around your chest, under your arms, above the bust.
2. Measure around the fullest point of your chest.

Subtract measurement 1 from measurement 2. If resulting number is a fraction, fround up to the next whole number.
0" =AA
1"= A
2"= B
3"= C
4"= D
5"=DD
6"=DDD
etc.

Ok here is how you can do it yourself.First measure under your breast this will give the size around.(28 through 40)Then you measure around your breast this will give you the cup size.each inch over the first will = one cup size.For example if your first measurement was 30 and the second measurement was 32 you will need a size 32-b bra hope i was of help to ya hun.Don't be embarrassed,it is just a part of life.

You are probably a 36. But the size of the cup is where you'll need the lady's who at the bra department to tell you. Just go to a bra shop or department and ask her for help with the size.

first of all Measure your self all the way around your bust line. That is the first measurement..36(a) ,34(b)..ect.. The first measurement is the width around your torso. The second measurement is your cup size..A,B,C Ect.. When you put your bra on and clasp it....lean forward and let your breasts fall into your bra then pull up your straps. The front center of your bra should lay flat against your chest between your breasts. That is the perfect fit.

sorry for being a guy and answering this ,but I'm a single parent of 2 girls and have found myself in exact same situation . What to do is find your nearest department store and ask if they have experienced fitters you will be surprised as most do ,they will measure you and give you advice as to what is appropriate to buy ,then like my two you just need someone to pay ,hope to have been of some help.

measure under your breasts, then measure across your breasts at the nipples, subtract 2nd figure from first

the difference is your cup size 1 inch=a 2 inches=b 3=c etc...
your bra size would be 34?

department stores and victoria secerts will give you free measurements... or else there is a way to do it yourself, measure just under your breasts and then arcoss them at the widest part. the number from below is the size # and if you difference after subtracting the two correlates to the cup size

Go to:
http://www.85b.org/bra_calc.php.

It is a bra size calculator. I was bigger than I thought and I got a new bra after my calculations and the new one fits just right!!
