this guy is two years older then me, and he went to my jr prom with me (i asked him to), he used to talk all the time to me put sence the prom he's been very quite (soo very unlike him). i kinda feel like he dont like me, but he has told my nephew that im the love of his life, and has told me the one thing he wants is to make me happy. should i try to ask him out (and if so, where), or should i just get over him?

With that much of an age difference, maybe he was teased by his friends about going to the prom with you. If he isn't talking to you now, he really must not think of you as the love of his life. Try talking to him about your concerns. If he continues the silent treatment in public, then he has no respect for you regardless of the age difference. If that is the case... do try to get over him.

Go on, ask him. You've got nothing to lose, it sounds like there's a good chance he'd accept from what you've mentioned. He might be too shy to make the next move himself. And even if he doesn't and you do decide to ge over it, at least you'll know the truth. Or, you could leave it and get over it and never know whether there was any potential. Good luck.

Ask him out?!!! It sounds like you should get to know him BETTER first or get to the point where you can have a conversation first. Ask for his phone # and maybe he can talk better over the phone. Or I email guys untill I get to know them better. If he is not talking now it would be akward if he didn't talk on a date either. He is only human ...don;t be afraid of him. Good luck

whats the harm in asking?!..if he says no play it off like you just wanted to chill if he says yes, put on your best shoes and flirt it up:) either way you still want him as a friend but it cant be more if you dont try and being a girl sometimes you gotta take the upper hand! ;)

I would say to to leave him alone and don't talk to him, if you are the love of his life he is going to came after you. Then he is going to be the one asking you out.

I think that you should like casually ask him to go somewhere with you. Maybe say something like "Hey, there's this really cool movie coming out". Want to come with me and see it?" Or something like that. Hopefully, he'll say "sure, i wanted to see that movie too!"
