That's called a rotary phone, with a spinning dial. It is an antique, prolly not worth too much with a spiral cord though. If it had a stiff black cord it would most likely be worth a few hundred

It could just as well be a replica (remake) of a classic phone, I see them alot. It could also be a fairly recent phone, I remember my father buying a rotary dial phone back in about 1987. If maybe we could see some pics of the phone, or at least know the brand name and or model number, it would be alot easier to determine it's age and possible worth.

NO, it is most likely an old phone like they had in classrooms or hotel lobbies. You can't dial out but you can answer if called. They aren't antiques yet.

yup they worked by always being connected to an operator and the operator connected whomever you wanted to call
