I was at this school dance and I asked this guy if he would like to dance with me. He turned to me and was like " uhhh..........I have a girlfriend" Now in the halls I avoid him. I don't know what to do or say to him.

well, you can just pretend like nothing happened. its okay to avoid him, but you cant keep doing that. its like hiding from your problem-- which isnt good. face your fears. smile, laugh. its all good ;]

What a nut. You can dance with other girls if you have a girlfriend - that is if you have a normal girlfriend who recognizes that a dance isn't a proposal for marriage.

Don't worry he probably is trying to avoid you because he's probably afraid he hurt your feelings or is very embarrassed. So go talk to him tell him your sorry and see if he would like to be friends, but make it clear not boyfriend. Good Luck, God Bless, and Remember Jesus Loves and Adores.

Talk to him. You still can be friends. Just tell him that he was so handsome that you took a chance :) But let him stay with his girlfriend as long as he wants.
