I seem to remember that back in 1543 a chap named Vesalius showed men & women have the same number of ribs, and that whole "extra rib" thing is a crock? Am I mistaken?

NO because if u look even to this day man still has one less rib than a women

Good question,,,I always thought it might be the large piece "missing" from in between both ribs if you follow the center down from where your ribs meet..the area below that. Also..2nd option,,the original Hebrew language would be better translated to English as Adams "side" not "rib"..hope this helped.

It did not grow back. You see, if some guy lost his leg and it didn't grow back and after he lost it he had a kid, the kid would still have two legs. It's just a gene thing.
