Very well said.
There is no god, except ourselves. No fat guy up there. It's just a concept, and a misleading one at that.

People want to blame all of the world problems on God; never wanting to put the blame where it really lies. Gremlin for you and all the other blind unbeleivers of this corruptible world that man has contaminated all by himself; God is the only reason that you or any of the rest of us are still here. If it God would just not interven in some of this choas that man brings upon himself people like you that speaks against him He would let your life just come to an end; but out of love and compassion he still allows you time to change. If God is imaginary then so is man for man was made in God's image; so there must be a lot of imaginary people walking around on this earth and I for one know that there are not . The troubles in this world are brought own by human beings themselves; people kill people for many other things other than religion; religion is a small thing compare to some other crimes that are committed by society. When people realize that there is nothing that they can say to hurt God maybe they will qutie trying to blame Him for all their trouble, grieve and pain even you.
But here is something to think about you and whosoever that have the same theory; When things are going well for people in their lives even the unsaved will say God is good or the Lord sure did bless me. But let the bottom fall out or as some say when the heat is on and trouble starts to come from every side God is the cause. They never take a good look at themselves to see where the trouble really stems from. Every day of our lives is not going to be sunshine if you are alive and live on this earth long enough you are going to have troubles, grieve and pain we all are going to have to go through this one way or another. But having the true and living God in our lives makes the burdens lighter.

racism has been going on for thousands of years, do you blame it on the skin pigments? people kill because of racism every day. people kill because of drugs. people kill because someone is wearing the wrong color shirt on the wrong side of town. people are always going to have a reason. it cant be blamed only on religion. God isnt imaginary. those who are fighting for their "religious beliefs" are learning these practices from other humans. someone gets the idea that its right to do _______ in the name of religion and people follow them. (fill in the blank, it can be anything) God is a mighty leader. he did give people in the bible the permission to kill, but the permission was temporary, to achieve a goal, and never made into a religious pursuit, it was because God wanted his followers to have the land that was good. religion is not the cause of all the worlds troubles, the lack of God is the cause. people are following their own pursuits, and their own desires. people have the belief that they can do what they want and never have to answer for their actions. if we all truely loved God deep in our hearts we would already be living in a nirvana type existence.

That's not because of God, that is because of humans. God is not the cause of the world's problems. The divisivenss and exclusionism of organized religion is one of the major causes of war. God does not create organized religion. Humans do. Human beings' intolerance of each other and inability to respect others' beliefs is the cause of the world's troubles.

I'm to arrogant to give credit to god for all the world's troubles. My friends and I are capable of causing all the trouble we need without god's help. To fix things, on the other hand, we could use a little help.

Hello Gremlin.. :)
My Heavenly Father..the One who created the Heavens and the Earth..did not cause the the worlds trouble men did..people kill people not because of God..but because of money, power, greed, self satisfaction, anger, lies and hatred..
These do not come from God..but from the evil that lies within man..
satan is the Father of lies, greed, hatred, anger, greed and self satisfaction..
God is the author of Love, peace, joy, kindness, gentleness and purity..
You are correct about it going on for thousands of years..just as God is Love, he brings people together by forgiveness..
satan is hate and causes division among men.. :(
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

The overwhelming vast majority of killings -- virtually all of them, in fact -- have NOTHING to do with differences in religion.
The overwhelming vast majority of the world problems are because of an ABSENCE of religion, not the presence of it.
And people who hold views such as yours typically have a beef against religion because it teaches things that you'd rather not hear or deal with.
That's why you feel the need to discredit and slander it, with your baseless claims about religion causing problems and killing.

God is responsible for all that is good.
Man is responsible for the bad in the world, through our shortcomings and failure to live up to our potential given to us by God. Mankind kills itself for all kinds of "reasons" like money, land, power and more, which have no connection to their belief, or lack thereof, in God.
In short, narrow minded people like you are perfect examples of just how short man falls of God's expectations.

Yep. Religion is a major source of conflict.
And I am also sure that money, power, land and jealousy had absolutely nothing to do with any murders or wars or assaults of any kind in human history.

Yep, god (or the idea of one rather) is responsible for hundreds of thousands, if not millions of deaths.

My REAL God is NOT responsible for the killing. He gave us free will. It is OUR choice to go around killing each other for ANY reason.
