why birds fly?

if a bird can fly why cant humans i mean we wanna fly to hey im only 13 i am full of questions that need answers

birds fly because they have wings. Humans do not have wings. But having wings is no guarantee that you can fly. Some birds with wings can not fly. The ostrich, emu, penguins. The penguins adopted their wings for swimming. The giant land birds became too heavy to get off the ground and their wings became useless.

Birds are not the only animal that has wings and can fly. Bats also have wings and can fly as do many insects such as bees, mosquitos, flies, wasps, dragon flies, even some beatles and others also.

Just because you want to fly, doesn't mean anything. Birds fly because they are birds. Fish swim because they are fish. That's just the way it is.
