some times, its because they were not raised right, were not taught basic courtesy and politeness... other times they were taught correctly and much to the distress and embarrassment of their own parents... they decided not to follow what they were taught....it seems to be an affect of the "me" generation.... this type of person, does not care if they hurt or offend others.. they only care about themselves...the have no concept of the word rude and feel totally justified in doing and or saying anything they wish regardless of the effect it produces in others...now on the other hand the world is also filled with many kind, polite, courteous people , but they may not be as noticeable since its the rude people that are usually the loudest, and get the most attention..

People are rude to each other when they have a bad day. They feel that since they had a bad day, everyone they come into contact with should feel the same misery they are feeling. So the next time someone goes ballistic on you just try staying calm and remember they probably are having a bad day too.

It just keeps getting past on. If the first person is rude to the second person, that person passes it on to the next and so on. You can stop it by just giving someone a kind word which will make them feel better about them selves, and most likely they will pass on their feeling to the next.

Impatience and indifference!
Manners and understanding are only a fraction of human capabilities, but in the world we live in now, with uncertainty, war, greed and "looking after number one" the former seem to take priority. People just don't take the time to be nice, kind and understanding to others. Sick, isn't it?

Jealously is one of the prime factor which arouses rudeness and bitter quarrel thereafter. Ego is another issue. It goes on and on. We humans never learn to say "its enough" rather we demand for more and more.

That is the society we live in. our values have changed and it doesn't seem so important to be nice any more. My ten year old son has more manners than most adults i see out in public

Sux, huh. No matter how nice you try to be to somebody, they have something rude to say back. Too many people on crack I think.

more we advance in technology...more we loose our selves,
social wise,we are really going down, and fast,
values are just reduced to one,and that's DOLLAR,
no more respect,honor,proud,......those that 100 years ago,
has nothing to do with your wealth,
therefore.....we are the creatures of money, and you don't expect us to be polite.
