Im just wondering because the Border Patrol make pretty good money. If the National Guard were to get payed the same, where would that money come from... us?

They are getting their usual wages

I can assure you the Border patrol agents make much more than the National Guard regulars. First of all the BP's are full time Federal employees and the NG's are part timers.
Ha! Are they even getting paid? Do you think they do that kind of work out of the goodness of their hearts?
It's not like some Latin countries who's police augment their incomes with bribes, protection money and extortion.

Yes.They get paid.I don't know how much or the difference between them and the Border Patrol.

Military pay.......

As for Border control pay.....I couldn't tell you how much that is.....I hope it is a well paying job.

Usual pay is what they get. Will they get kickbacks who knows.
