I did the same thing in high school. If you were approved for it, obviously someone thinks you will be successful. I would see if you can borrow/buy a Spanish II textbook and look it over, and keep it handy. My experience was that a lot of the stuff in Spanish III was new to me but review to a lot of the other students, so they moved pretty quickly. Try not to let it overwhelm you, and work closely with the teacher. It may be an abrupt start, but if you stick with it, it can pay off for you.

Ask the teacher if you can have a syllabus or course guide for Spanish 2. Then you can look it over and see what you would have missed. Also maybe you can borrow a spanish 2 textbook for the summer. Congratulations and good luck!

It depends on how good the courses are.. I would guess that if you skip from level I to III, you will have missed out on a lot of IMPORTANT verbs. If at all possible, I would not recommend the skipping to level III.

why would you want to skip spanish 2? first you need to know all your conjugations and irregular verbs and basically more vocab and a little more grammar, im sure there will be review in the beginning though, just study

My guess, and this is just a guess, but maybe, just maybe knowing SPANISH might be somewhat of a help.
