I dont have any problem with it...in Islam we believe that women are the sole caretakers of life...mothers. Being a mother is the "foundation of community" as it is stated in the Qur'an several times, and a foundation of community is the highest leadership position. But of course, in this post feminist revolution world, no one believes that to be a blessing, so yes, I do and Islam does, believe that women can be apart of government, and spiritual leadership...Most of the Arab world does as well....dont believe me look at the polling data. Even if they dont exercise it, they believe it.

Women can be just as good of a salesperson as there male counterpart, however the women that go to church want a strong, firm male to lead them, so women are mostly used as a side kick in old religions

It could work in new wave religions, with a dominate, but yet compassionate women
It really just depends on their acting skills and how much nerve they have, because people are gullible and want so much for little children to stay little children and with the male pastor/priest the women feel more comfortable

To those comments above: Oy some men still live old school, how hypocritical is it that women all of the sudden are inferior to men in their "religion" and they say Jesus loves you, God bless you, oh I can help you with whatever you need etc. I dont even think you even know what love is?! Women can be used by God just as well as men aren't we all created equal?! I Its a shame that "christians" take one part of the bible and not the other. God used Ruth, Mary, Rebecca, and many other women. I feel so sorry for the women that are bound under that manmade "law" its a shame.

I don't see why not. Church's have sent women out to the mission field for years. They certainly had to take on a leadership roles in those venues.

I have no problem with it. The pastor and his wife preach together at my church all of the time. They can do just as good as some of the men can.
