How do you think his death will affect Islam? A martyr?

Al-Zarqawi was a petty thug. He had a following of other petty thugs. He was about as religious as a common ground slug. He was a slug thug. Islam has a tendency to spawn common ground slug thugs like this, and today he got salted.

A whole bucket full of ground slug thugs will come crawling out of the Qur'an to take his place.

He was not a religious leader, he was a rebel. He will be considered as a martyr because he was killing others in the name of Islam, but his death will not do or change anything about Islam. We will talk about him for a while, until someone else comes up again and take his place and repeat whatever he wanted to do. If it wasn't one, there will be a thousand, at least.

If anything he did effected Islam, it will not be credited to him, for the Muslims will give all the credit only to their Prophet Muhammad and Allah, and all other people are just pawns in the game of life.

No Zarqawi wasnt a religious leader, why do people automatically assume that everyone is a religious leader...was hitler a priest...is Ariel Sharon a Rabbi....both truely evil men and they dont represent their religion, Bin Laden and Al-Zarqawi are the same...they are evil men that do not follow Islam at all.

I don't think so. He was full of hate with a personal agenda cloaked in a facade of religious faith who had people believing in him. There have been plenty like him and there will be more in the name of religion or otherwise but I believe it is all hate based.
