What does mayonnaise do to your hair if you put it in your hair?

My friend's sister put mayonnaise in her hair then wrapped it in aluminum foil. I was wondering what it does to your hair.

Mayonnaise is mainly oil and eggs....it acts as a conditioner. Make sure to rinse it well.

i just did it yday. it didnt work. not at all. n it makes ur hair stink afterwards. i had to like soak my hair in shampoo to get rid of the smell. dont do it.

Well my grandma said it adds nutrients , she did it when she was younger like once a month she added 1 egg with it . I said shes CRAZIE .lol I wont try it ..
