The Bible - New International Version.., (NOT the TNIV).
The methodology used in translating and sniffing out suspect scriptures added after 13th and 14th centuries makes this translation the most reverent of most translations on the market today.

Even so, I keep my King James, New King James and the King James Easy Reader versions on hand.

The Bible is the Word of God.

If you're looking for a specific book in the Bible, that's a bit tougher to reduce.

If I had to choose, I would choose Issaih. I know, as a Christian, you'd think I'd pick John or Mathew.....or anything else out of the New Testament, but I choose Issaih.

Read it again...there is definitely New Testament stuff there...and Issaih is quoted more than anyone else from the Old Testament.
