i wanna make sure that 1 gb secure digital memory card is compatible with my hitachi hdc 530e camera. please no bull ****. only serious answers

The HDC 530e does support SD memory. The link below will confirm this.

It's 5 Mpixel, so reasonably modern, and hence will be able to address all of the memory on a 1Gb card. I've heard of some older cameras being able to use a 1Gb card, but not able to access the full amount of memory on the card.

The only other consideration is the speed at which data is written to the card.... again, a modern camera and modern card, so there should be no problems!

Hitachi hdc 530e supports SD card as memory type. The restriction should be on what type of memory (CF, SD, Memory Stic etc) but not on the capacity of the SD card. I GB should be fine.
