If you are looking for the original deep dish pizza, then the only choices are Uno's and Due's in downtown Chicago. Lou Malnati used to work with Ike Sewell there and that is where he got the idea.

For deep dish, Giordano's is the best there is. There are several in the Chicago area.
For thin crust, Piece is fantastic. It's located at 1927 W. North Ave. in Chicago.

Louisa's in Crestwood (140th and Cicero), Ok sorry that's not in Chicago but it's great pan pizza. Giordano's is my Chicago favorite, especially the stuffed vege with black olives on top.

try Mancini's... they have a nice menu with a wide variety of pasta dishes as well... enjoy!
(they serve pie pizzas... aka really deep dish pizzas ... prepare to have left overs... aka: don't order a large unless you are crazy or in a party of 20...)

Home Run Inn - the original on 31st St., but any other outpost (Darien, Addison, etc.) will do in a pinch.
