Silly rabbit, it is so the super conglomerate can get the KIDS to think it's just for them, and sell more junk food. A warm furry fuzzy talking being can't have Trix. Ahhhh, let's nag Mom to get us some Trix. Let's revel in the rabbit's misery.
But the commercial has a moral! You sneak around and try to steal some kids Trix, and there will be no Trix for you! Sadly, it teaches kids that it's OK to sneak around and try to steal Trix, it also teaches kids to be selfish around a poor hungry rabbit. LOL.
Congrats to the Madison Avenue advertising agency who thought that one up. Trix has been around a long time. That rabbit must be an old bunny. Maybe that's why he can't get the Trix! He is elderly and arthritic!

Trix is for kids because kids can handle the sugar and it was meant for kids because of the animated commercial and cereal box.

Honestly, you don't really believe that, lol. There is no telling what that phrase is worth. Kids are people too, so they wanted to make the kids feel special with a catchy name.

Becasue it is a sold logo for the consumer and it works.
Just like the Count Choclua Versus Franken Berry. They both were incentives and both sold equally.

They have dibs in with the doctors. They are so coated with sugar that the kid in question gets hyper, parents can't control the little rascal so they take him/her to the doctor and the Dr prescribes ritalin(sp?)...lol It's a turnaround
