i don't know the official statistic, but my own research suggests that $1,500 is the average price for a package including negatives and an album.

My photographer is charging me $300. She's raised her rates to $450 now, but that's still a great deal. We're in Texas and things are usually a little cheaper, but it's still the cheapest I've seen around.

I think it really varies... not just on location. I paid 1500 back in 2001. That was all day photography but not negatives. Large photoalbum...
The photographer was blah... okay... I've seen much better. This was not photojournalistic style, either.

My best friend paid $1,400 dollars for her photographer and the pictures were absolutely terrible! The cameras on the tables took better pictures.
