........say honestly, and I want you to actually think on this, that you don't fear dying? Note 'dying' as opposed to 'death', eg, your actual demise and the moment you stope breathing as opposed to the after-life, in whatever form you may hold it.

Do you think that if you do not fear dying then there is nothing at all on this earth to fear at all?

Thanks for your answers

No, I can honestly say I have no fear of dying. When its time to go, its time to go. Thank you very much; goodnight.

I can not honestly say that I don't fear dying. I would like to overcome that fear someday, because my death is both assured and inevitable, and death is a natural part of life (ironically), no matter if an afterlife awaits me or not. I believe this is the fear that each and every human being on this planet fears.

I don't think that, if you overcome the fear of death, that there is nothing left to fear. There's always taxes, after all.

I do fear dying. I won't lie about that. Death itself I don't fear.

Oh, there IS some things on this planet I do fear. It's natural for people to fear some things. The fear only becomes unnatural if it becomes a phobia. You do have a point, tho. If I don't fear death, then why should I not fear walking the streets of a large city at night, alone?

I guess it just boils down to self-perservation.

When im young I should have a healthy and normal fear of death. When Im old and its time to Go I hope I will have prepared myself and will be ready for death. That process takes a lifetime.
Dying is not the worst thing that can happen. There are things I fear that wont kill me but would be worse than dying.

Dying is one of the things I am scared of most, but I don't expect it to happen soon, as I am a healthy teenager, so I am scared of other things more often thanthe thought of dying right now, like spiders, and snakes, and heights, and.... Well, dangerous things that could hurt me.

So I guess you could say I am, in a way, scared of dying, as I am scared of things that would make dying come much quicker than it normally would.

Note: Every second you are dying, as you are coming closer to your death.

So why should you fear dying? You would also have to fear living!

Honestly i am not afraid of dying itself. But that doesn't mean that there is nothing to fear on earth. You fear things because they can harm you or cause some negative consquence for you. Dying is the release of fears and everything on earth to be at peace. So while your alive, yes, there are plenty of things to fear. While dying, fears do not matter.

I do not fear death but dying itself is quite scary.
I am scared that it will hurt a lot. If I thought it would be over in a painless second then it would be okay.
Also, I am scared it happens too soon, before i have accomplished everything i want to & before I have told everyone how i feel about them.
Being dead is not a problem unless I am wrong in thinking there is nothing after death. I think when we die that it is, gone into nothingness forever.

I don't fear death, but spending a long time dying bothers me. not so much for my sake, but I don't want my family to see me suffer. I know what happens after death, and once I knew it was on the cards I would want it over with ASAP. But i think there are plenty of things to fear other than dying, how about watching a loved one suffer, and slowly die.

I do fear death just not life after death. I'm afraid of dying a painful or lonely death, but once I go I know my God will be there waiting for me. So well all my loved ones who have gone before me.

I am not afraid. Even if dying is the end, it's a rest... it must be nice to finish, in that last moment as you let go of your last breath you know your task is complete, you've lived and now is your time to go. It happens to us all, embrace it, accept that it could happen any moment, right now even, and be ready for it no matter what. Live for today (within reason) and you've nothing to fear in death.

You could fear someone else dying , I could care less if I die this very moment I'm secure with my beliefs enough not to fear death but I do care whether some of my family or friends die just because I dont want to be without them.
