Absolutely not. Pagan worship has nothing to do with the devil. It is more about worshipping nature.

Satanism is technically a Christian religion, since one who practices Satanism must be opposed to Christian ideals. Satanism is actually a real religion and recognized by the government.

Satanism has adopted some of the Pagan customs in their forms of worship, but Paganism pre-dates Satanism.

Pagans are not anti-establishment as stated below. If that were the case, they would be anti-society, and anti-government. Check out the link below, and type in "Paganism" in the search area.

Paganism is not classically defined as a religion, but rather various customs and ideas are incorporated into this lifestyle. Many people practice Pagan customs today, unaware of their origin. Remember that in order for many Christian and Catholic churches to gain membership in their affiliations they naturally had to adopt or incorporate pagan customs.

Paganism, is a very broad term, and only incorporates traditions, not necessarily religion notions, such as "Holly on the Mantle" for Christmas (originally this term was Christian Mass, in the Catholic church. Red and Green, the symbols of Life, Red being blood and green, being the Earth.

Satanists do use Pagan customs, but then again so do Catholics, Baha'i, Christians, Muslims, and many other religions. Paganism is the tradition, not the religion.

Satanists worship Satan - sometimes with blood or human sacrifice.
Pagan worship can be less violent, just worshiping the creation (earth) instead of the Creator. Pagans and Wiccans often use the down pointing star - the star of Bophomat as their emblem. This is a satanic star ==the goat of Mendez so it gets kind of close to satan worship sometimes. Even though it is not intended to be, or admitted, by the worshipers.

NO NO NO and NO. anyway you say it, the answer's the same. Pagans believe in the worship or many gods and believe in basically natural things. We NEVER give meat as an offering, raw or cooked. The only thing we give them is fruits, veggies and either wine or rum. Satanic worship and Paganism are two totally different religions.

no, were are you getting your info??????

the pagan religions are the old ones, before the so called Cristen religion was started it was all over the world. most of them focused on living in harmony with the earth and understanding nature. It was demonized by the Christan religion because they had to find some way to get people to change, and at the point of a sword was often the only way. The pagan religions could not be fully eliminated so the church had to bring parts of it into there religion, all the Easter symbolism's, and Christmas's stuff as well as others are all old pagan holidays that have been adapted.

Satan is a Christian invention. Since Paganism is non-Christian religion, there is no room for Satan in it. There is no Pagan pantheon, to my knowledge that contains anything resembling Satan.

However, if you are a Christian, and you think that worshipping anything other than your God is the same as worshipping Satan, an opinion you are welcome to, though I do not agree, then yes, it is the same.

No. Pagans worship the aspects of nature as the faces of the divine.

Instead of divine laws or naturistic principles (such as in Paganism), Satanism generally focuses upon material or physical advancement of the self with guidance from external higher beings or external principles, instead of submission to a deity or a set of moral codes

Isn't Druidism a pagan religion? I believe paganism is merely a name given to a religion which pre-dates Christianity and is based on natural phenomena, astrology, stones, trees, animals etc
It is not the same thing as Satanism.

pagans don't worship the devil (contrary to popular belief). it's said that because that line of reasoning was used to get people to convert to christianity. pagans worship nature and nature-bound gods like mother earth goddesses. satanics worship the devil and don't revere nature as pagans do. both groups do use witchcraft, but satanists use a form commonly called black magic, while pagans tend to focus on white magic.

No. Pagans do not believe in Satan. That is a Christian idea. Many Christians claim that if you do not serve their god, you are serving Satan. There's a verse in the bible that states, you can not serve 2 masters. Mix n match that verse with others that state "Satan is their Father" and you get the idea that Christians have.
