its just a presence you can sense. its kinda like if youre in a room with someone else, even though you may not be looking at them and they're perfectly quiet, you know that they are in the room. its kinda like that but when your spirit feels them, you just feel as if something is looking at you. it happens to me every now and then.
spirits are all around us; some people can sense them better than others. its a gift so to speak

That's like asking how you know if you can see? Can you see? If yes, then you know you can see. If you have to ask, I suppose the answer is you can't.
