I wouldn't. I don't know if it would have any effect on your child, but it could lead to stress-related skin problems. That is exactly what happened to my mother when she got it age age 39. Now whenever she gets stressed out, she gets blotchy, and the dermatologist says it's directly related to having strep throat.

The "strep" bacteria are not airborn. You do not put yourself at risk simply by being in the same room. You are at risk the moment you might ingest the bacteria by (mistakenly) sharing eating utensils, drinking glasses etc.

Absolutely not. Not only is it inadvisable to take antibiotics while pregnant, the strep bacteria can affect your baby and cause mental retardation or worse.

I wouldn't. It's best not to have to take antibiotics when your pregnant if you can help it. I would stay away from the kid.
