*For 2 yrs my boyfriend was stuck living with his ex for financial reasons. he never spent the night with me unless she was out of town or he accidentally passed out at my house from being drunk.
*I wasnt allowed to call him, or him call me when she was around. I didnt even have his home number untill about 1 year in the relationship.
*I begged him to be with me every night, but he always turned away to save the drama that would happen when his ex gets jealous.
*I found another guy behind his back, but didnt do anything physical untill I broke up with my boyfriend.
*Once he found out i moved on, he has totally changed his life but now holds it against me that I have been physical with someone else. And tries to blame everything on me.
*Did I really make a huge mistake? Should I have waited for him forever?

No you made the right choice. It appears that you never had "ALL" of him during your relationship. No one is ever stuck with their ex, even for financial reasons. Sounds like he was leading you on and toying with your feelings. No man is worth waiting for under those circumstances.

No you did the right thing, that relationship, was pulling you down, and that's no way to live your life.
Life is too short, so work on your new boyfriend and leave that loser behind you.

you made no mistake. if you feel bad then you are okay but you can't wait for him. who cares if his EX is jealous. if they aren't together anymore then the ex shouldn't care who he is dating. if you still love him then go back but what about this other guy?
