I believe in Jesus Christ. I'm a Catholic. I'm more of a moderate. I do have traditional views on things, but I'm not gonna TELL people what to do. But I'll try to guide them as best I can. I believe the father, son, and the holy spirit are/is my father, and my friend. I think if I try to live a good Christian life, that others will see that and WANT to follow me. I don't like being told what to do, and I don't really like telling others what to do, but I will tell them what I think(or know), what they should do, and I do believe that I'm guided by God most of the time. He is my Savior, and I do believe that God will give u what u want as u need it, and that he won't give u problems u can't handle. If he does, I just tell him I'm about to give up on life, and something usually comes to me...sent by him...a friend calls, I see something soothing on tv, I read the Bible, and the scripture TOTALLY relates. etc. Footprints is awesome!

I am an atheist who is spiritual. "god/afterlife" is not part of my spirituality. A few of the basics of my spiritual Path:

All actions and inactions have consequences. Weigh the cons before I act or not act.

To know myself better and to allow myself to grow, expand, explore.

Just be the best human being I can be, within reason. :-)

"You not only can live a new life but you also can grow in grace and power and beauty. Reach ever forward and upward after the things of the spirit. In the animal world, the very form of an animal changes to enable it to reach that upon which it delights to feed. Your whole character changes as you reach upward for the things of the spirit--for beauty, for love, for honesty, for purity, and for unselfishness. Reaching after these things of the spirit, your whole nature becomes changed so that you can best receive and delight in the wonders of the abundant life."

I believe I was born to be of service to others. I feel most at peace and most alive when making a difference in another's life. I find the divine in nature, in my boyfriend's kisses, my mother's hugs, my cat's purr. I value knowledge, justice, mercy and truth.
