No book can address all that can and will happen in any specific way. So, to overcome this, religious texts generally focus on principles over such things as the recipe for Teflon or the correct way to invest your IRA holdings.
When people attempt to make their beliefs overly specific by giving this or that property to God and to say definitely that this or that explanation of the world is correct- when they do that they are bound to err.
What results is a 'god of the gaps'. A god that can only live in specifics not yet addressed or discovered by mankind. And the gaps keep getting smaller and smaller.

Oh, I thought I could talk with you about this, * until I read the second paragraph. I'm out.
* As in 'Yes, in the old days the church had real power, and the Pope of the day would have scientists imprisoned or even killed for heresy such as stating that the Earth rotated the Sun.* Then you give me the Mumbo-Jumbo stuff again...

Faith is not always knowledge ... in fact, often times, faith and knowledge are on opposite ends. Knowledge is based on facts, but faith is based in truth, and charity, which is what the church teaches. It has the authority to do so. I know this, and I believe this. My church is not out of touch with God, but the world is moving away from Him, and it gets confusing. The world offers freedom, and He offers a Kingdom of which He is the head. The world offers choices, decisions, and He tells us that we should obey Him 24/7, and praise Him forever. The things we need to do for Him are not the same things we need to do for the world.
So you see, the worlds are not in charge of Armegeddon ... the possibility is strong that you have been deceived. It is Him that you should follow ... there will be many ploys to take you off track, away from Him. Do not stray to the dead end of the world, but rejoice in His Glory forever. His promises are true, always.

If you have truly been released in your spirit, you will let G-- be the judge of this. You just do your part to stay truthful to what you know now.
