Why not get a child sized "real" vacuum? They don't make the noise (can't get very irritating) and work! Children like to use real cleaning tools. I have many in my classroom and the children love them! We have a child sized carpet/floor sweeper, dustpans, mops, brooms, spray bottles for them to scrum windows and tables. My daughter had one of the pretend ones. It eventually became not good enough for her so she uses our light weight quick sweepers. It is strange to have a 2 year old vacuuming the living room but she enjoys it.

Yes! My nephews love that stuff, they are one and two years. They have a pretend Iron and pretend kitchen. But their favourite is a wooden birthday cake with wooden candles and slices. They love trying to sing happy birthday and dishing out cake slices!
I prefer them sorts of toys as it helps them to understand daily routines, chores and stops them trying to play with the adult versions!

No, not really. She likes toy kitchens, though. And anything to do with "Little People".

yea they do. get them some balls and a little basketball goals. a tent and slide and otha stuff.
