My uncle has. He built a really strong foundation in the middle of the tree and asked me and my cousins to build on top of it. It turned out to look like a real club house. Everything from the siding to the ladder was built as if a kids had built them. This was a really cool collaborative project. Due to harsh weather, it fell apart after 6 or 7 years,.. but by that time,... we had grown up anyways.
Have fun, and make sure you involve your kids!

My friend had one when I was growing up. We used to play in it all the time. It was so much fun. Some really great memories.

ooh yes! they are so fun! except you have to make sure you have a good tree first.
