EASY (KFC) SOUP
The crock pot is great for soups on a cold day.
In the morning, add meat bones like beef bones, chicken pieces (or both!), And, if you have KFC chicken, add a piece to the pot.
If no KFC the add just the meat bones and a dash of salt and pepper.
Add fresh or frozen veggies like carrots, celery, a scoop of long grain rice, and some spices like dried oregano, basil, dill, some chopped garlic.... Turn on the crock pot at 8 am, when you get home from work at 5:30, its ready.
Or for easy pot roast, here's my favorite, and there's no leftovers!
Good for 2 people
EASY POT ROAST
1 1/2-2 lbs of chuck roast
1 Can cream of mushroom soup, Campbells
1 packet of Lipton dried onion soup mix
2 carrots, chopped and peeled if you wish
1 celery, chopped
In the crock pot add the onion soup mix, the cream of mushroom, and 2 cans of water. Mix until dissolved.
Add the meat, the veggies and mix.
Add additonal water til its barely covering the veggies.
Turn on crock pot on med/low at 8 am, by 6 pm its done.
