Republican as their aim was spot on.
I saw that documentary too on UK tv about how well a military person performs depending on their country's leadership.
It kinda got lost on our US cousins though as the program was only shown on UK TV.

Should have been neither. The War in Iraq is a fundamental evil that should have never occurred, but was facilitated by the screwball administration that American suffer under currently. Was he a terrorist? Hell yes. Why was he a terrorist? Because America helped to create that monster. That's a fact that we all have to face. The difference between Republicans and Democrats is quite simple: both love their country (America), but in very different ways.
Republicans have the same love for America as a toddler does for his mommy. Mommy can do no wrong, no matter what, and that's why he loves his mommy. Never you mind she was selling dope and having cockfights in the basement, mommy knows best and she can break whatever rules she wants because she's mommy and we should all love mommy without question.
Democrats are a little different. Democrats love America the way an adult loves something. Democrats understand that people and things make mistakes, sometimes really really big ones, but instead of loving the mistakes made and ignoring them because "mommy made it, so it's okay", Democrats try to learn and grow and change for the better.
So. Who killed Zarqawi? I'd vote Republicans. What should have killed Zarqawi? Old age. Maybe a heart attack. Something nice and peaceful and quiet and non-warlike.

I think it doesn't matter. The world is a better place now that hes had two 500 lbs bombs deliver him to Allah. His organization destroys a lot of lives and is only interested in suppressing the rights of people around the world. It is a very unfortunate thing, but people like AMZ would rather be killed and enter martyrdom than assist in the construction of a Middle Eastern country. Who thinks anyone in the military wants to be in Iraq? Furthermore, who would rather have more attacks in the US than terrorist groups focus be on our military half a world away?

Oh, good Lord. Do you really think they split the pilots into political groups and said "have at it boys!" Give me a freaking break. A soldier is a soldier and I highly doubt they were thinking "Boy, this will make my political party look great come Nov. 2008!" In another 2 1/2 years do you really think this will be the most memorable "victory" to have come out of this war?

It could have been a mixture of both... political affiliation really doesn't play a role in the military your just expected to follow orders given to you just like what those pilots did... it doesn't mean they're brain-dead, it's not their fault they're over their... and actually the majority of the people in the military aren't rich because the main reason why ppl join the military is b/c they can't pay for college, if they were rich their parents wouldn't allow them to (for the person who said republicans b/c of money).

Muslims wanted him dead as well. If they didn't, no one would have given him up, and he would still be alive, planning his next kill. He was an equal opportunity killer. He killed Muslims, Christians, Sunni, Shias, whomever he saw they're against him.
Remember the wedding bombing in Jordan. The Target were Muslims. one side for the men, and the other side for women and children. In Jordan he was a convicted murder, ran away from the law, not a hero, nor a martyr.

I would bet they were Republican. They excelled in hard classes in college, undertook physical disicipline, and they were not afraid to do the job assigned no matter how they personally "felt" about it. They also know every day that what they do is the right thing to do or else they would not be up there doing it. They do not need to question the morality..they know it...
