It might sound really weird but I will try to explain. God is God, Jesus is God's Son. In the old testiment they use to sacrifice Lambs to make attonment for their sins. Jesus was prophesied to be the "Lamb of God" and that is why he had to die. They Lambs blood was a symbol of mans sinful nature, and so Jesus came as the Mesiah to cancel sin once and for all by paying the price and being the ultimate sacrifice for all of creation. In the bible it says that he was sinless but he became sinful and bore all of our sins on the cross. However three days later he rose from the dead and gloriously went to be seated at the right hanf of the Father till he is to return in the last days. Sorry if I am being too much like a bible banger, but I wish people understood the whole concept of the cross, because its so awesome! God can't die you are completly right, but God so loved the world that he sent his one and only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) and in (Romans 5:25) it says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 9) says that if we believe in our heartsa and confess with our mouths that Jesus is the Son of God and that Jesus rose him from the dead, that we would be saved. So if you do believe what the bible says and you want to spend eternity in heaven you need to pray and give your life to Jesus. He is the way the truth and the life and no one can come to the father but throgh him. If you have a hard time believing that there is a God and you are confused by society and everything that says its the one true way, pray and start small. God isn't a religion like the rest of the world says, its having a relationship and looking for guidence and dirrection, and trusting that God will guide you through life and bless and keep you safe till you see his face! If anyones has any q?s about this stuff email me! wrldchanger@yahoo.com! God bless!

Jesus is nothing more than God in the form of man. God created him and called him his son because he has no earthly father. If you remember, Jesus was born to a virgin woman, Mary. So because God loved us he sent us his son who was perfect, and died for us. A lot of people don't understand how He died for us, but it's simple. He gave us something to have faith and believe in and if we do believe that he he died and ROSE AGAIN on the third day, we'll be blessed with everlasting life. Check out John 3:16.

God can not die. Also the scripture says that God is *Not A Man* that he should lie.
Jesus was/is the Son of God. Pure and simple. He was also the son of man, because of his birth through Mary.
Jesus never said he was his own Father and acknowledged God was his Father. Anything else is just a conflict.
Jesus did say that he and the Father are ONE - because GOD lives IN Jesus - Jesus being the Ark of the Covenant not built by human hands, God dwelled inside him and were joined, or in unison. Jesus also said (see Gospel of John) that he told what the Father told him EXACTLY as the Father told him. And Jesus said he does what the Father does, as the Father shown him what to do.
If Jesus was God AND his own Father he wouldnt have to be told what to say or what to do. It is very simple. Any confusion you are experiencing comes from listening to people who conflict with God's word - and usually comes from the Roman Catholic teachings of Trinity or those who claim to be One-ness who say Jesus is God and his own Father.
TAKE THE BIBLE over anybody elses word. If what they say does not line up with Bible its a lie. If what they say lines up with the Bible, it has to be true - BUT beware of people who bend the scriptures to suit their own Sectarian ideas and can make it sound logical.
Compare what I told you with the New Testament. If its not true, then do not pay me any attention. If it is true, you have just been given confirmation.

Jesus is both God and Man -- conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He had to be Man so he could be under the law and eventually die, but he had to also be God so he could keep the law perfectly and conquer death (raised on 3rd day).

The way I believe it, Jesus is the lord, the son of God. He was put on earth by God in the form of a human being. They crucified him, killing him. But, only killing his body, not him. I think they killed him because they were afraid of him... like, they thought he was a witch or something. Maybe God had a choice of allowing his son to die, or killing the ones that were being mean to his son, and he allowed his son to die because he knew that was what his son wanted.

It is my belief that Jesus is not God, but the Son of God. A man while here on earth who sacrificed his human being in death for mankind's salvation. He is now in heaven ruling along side God,his father. This belief varies depending on which doctrines and beliefs an indiviual chooses to follow.

Yes God is eternal, This proofs Jesus is not God. as simple as that. now no matter how Christian brothers try to reconcile this issue, the belief of Christianity will yet remain same that Jesus died for 3 days, and i ask was trinity became duality with the death of Jesus. It should because one part of God died. SO SAD!
there are whole lots of confusions, Did Jesus pbuh died as a man or as a God?
If he died as a man, USELESS! because then how could the sacrifice of one man pay for the whole world?
If he is crucified or died than he must have died as a God. Then only he can regime mankind. If he died as a God then GOD DIED! And This is blasphemy. Furthermore, who ran the world during the death period of Jesus? Was trinity changed into duality with the death of Jesus? If it was the man part that died, then our christian brethren should stop saying that God died for their sins.
---------------------
"That they said (in boast), ‘We killed Jesus Christ the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah’ But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not-
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is exalted in Power, Wise."
[Al-Qur'ân 4:157-158]
=====================
SEE, RESURRECTION DOES NOT PROVE THAT JESUS IS GOD. We muslims believe that Jesus gave life to the dead by God's permission as he was prophet of God. Dead people was resurrected by Jesus with God's
permission. Now that does not mean that the people who were resurrected did not die? Yes they died.
When you say that Christ resurrected after 3 days therefore he did not die, because he was God, and God cannot die, you are missing one point. like my respected
"Mr.Mister" .
brother mister, RESURRECTION ONLY TAKES PLACE AFTER DEATH. and dont forget the 3 day period between death and resurrection. Hellooooooooooooo !!!!!!
QURAN (5:75) "Christ the son of Mary was no more than an Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!"

The physical manifestation of God in the body of Gods Son died, but as was proved with Christs resurrection, God can not die.
He did however make the trip through death.
This I believe;

Jesus said God is a Spirit and those which worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The spirit can't die but the flesh can.
