Losing weight is not an 'easy' thing. There are many ways that you could lose weight. Just use common sense. It has to be something that provides to your body good nutrition and not have to cut nutrition just to cut calories.
Also you will have to do something that will help you lose 3-5 kilos(6-10pounds) a month and after you lose the weight you should do a maintenance program. This is to help your body get used to the new weight.
BUT, whatever you try, it helps to have a consultant or a coach, someone who will help you through the entire program, whit support and tips and also you have to be consistent. The weight loss programs are not working just on working days. You have to be consistent and on weekends also.
I lost 11 kilos(22pounds) in 2 months 4 years ago and kept it off. I am now 26 year old and feel like 18years old but with better judgment :-).
Maybe you could try the same thing i tried but i have to tell you that you have to be ready first to start a weight loss program. Its not going to work by its self. YOU have to do it and be consistent, have patience and have the right coach.
If you like to now what i did send me an email at alldayin@gmail.com or an IM at businesscoach2006.
Hope i helped

Ahhh. The most common question asked on Yahoo!Answers. Save yourself the 5 points and look at the other questions about this. Well, the best way is to go on a crash diet. In other words, just don't eat anything unless it's like super healthy with no calories or anything and drink lots of water. Exercise too! ♥

You need to make a change in your life. Crash diets will allow you to lose weight, but not fat. Cut down on eating a little and increase your activities a little. Just small changes at first will help reduce weight. Drink plenty of water and put a little lemon juice in it so you don't retain the water weight.

The South Beach Diet is working for me...and nothing has worked for me before...I've tried lots of different diets. It didn't cost me anything either. I just got the books from the library and started. Very simple and easy diet to follow. Basically you cut out white flour and sugar. Of course there's more to it than that, but really, cutting those two things from your diet will make a big difference! After you get away from that stuff for a couple of days, you don't even crave it any more. Which is what makes it easy!

Exercise, reduce your caloric intake, and drink lots of water. Aim to lose no more than 1-2 pounds per week, though, or you will very likely gain it back. For exercise, make it a goal to take at least 10,000 steps per day (you can buy a cheap pedometer at Wal-Mart or Target to figure out how many you're taking). Or at least get your heart rate up for 30 minutes 3 days/week.

i usually cut back on the soda, junk food and fast food when i want to lose a few lbs. the best diet i ever did was the detox diet. i lost 5 lbs in a week but it was hard!! you mainly drink a ton of water, eat a lot of veggies and fruit, beans, rice, fish, and anything with a lot of nutrients. no artificial stuff. i tried exercise, it made me feel better but i didn't lose more weight.

Starving is not the answer. If you don't eat, you won't get the vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and proteins that you need to get you through the day.Your body will be in life threatening trouble if you don't eat right.
I would try yoga, Pilate's, eating RIGHT,and maybe running.That should help.Good luck!
P.S.Don't cut down on Carbs.Carbs give you energy that keeps you going. If you cut down on them, you will not have a lot of energy.

Try the liquid diet, the 48 hour hollywood drink. You can purchase it at walgreens or walmart. It takes 10 lbs off in 2 days.

Excersize, cut down on bad foods, and eat healthy foods. Try not to be stressed out either. I read in a fitness article that stress can prevent you from loosing weight, too.
