if it is true, what will it take for an average looking girl to get a great guy? Isnt it really hard because get tempted by all the other beautiful, sexy ladies?

Realistically, most guys are intimidated by hot chicks. Me, personally, I would rather have an average-looking girl who has not only a good personality but with whom I have something in common. Something like a similar taste in music and books, that kind of thing. An average-looking girl can be sexy just by showing she knows how to enjoy herself. A good sense of humor is solid gold to me and has nothing to do with physical beauty. I know a few handsome guys who have average-looking girlfriends. Remember: love is blind.

It is VERY TRUE .. I hope the question isnt into in the eye of the beholder. Why u say that? Remember u see lot of other skinny girls looking like whores or half naked to get attentions. it shows u that they are being insecured with men .. they know that they have been DUMPED by men many times when it comes to SEX. After sex, men thanked them and walked away to the next one. now, i have a wonderful and loving relationshoip and im a GREAT looking slim average girl ... my finace loves me too madly and said that i have the best body in the whole world .. not fakey body by druggie, plastic sugreies and so on .. most men dont realize that ... so be happy with what you have and get a great guy .. LOOK at me, im getting married real soon with a guy for 4 years.. So it is true , NOT MYTH, my friend .. WIshing u the best at your ends

OK Lets be realistic. The looks dont last forever!!!! the personality does. Thats what you need to relize. If a guy is only after looks he isnt a great guy. He is just a guy wanting a trophy for now. But he will get rid of her for what you call the "average women" for a real life commitment!

Yes, they can. Average looks and great personality can go a LOT further than good looks alone. Sometimes the beautiful, sexy ones are sooooo hung up on themselves that there's no room for anyone else in their life. Just be who you are, don't try to be something/someone you're not. Guys will see that. Don't give up. Crazy as it may sound, I met my girl right here on 'Answers'....

It is true but it doesn't apply to all guys. It depends upon your definition of what is a great guy. To me a great guy is one who loves someone for who they are. I think he needs to be attracted to the girl but I don't think that girl has to be a super model or even the best looking girl around. She needs to be someone who is nice looking, takes care of herself, and has some self confidence. A great guy may look at other women once he is with a girl but he isn't really interested in them because he cares more about the relationship he is in and making it work than trying to find a better one.

looks do matter, but if your "average" that's probably better than being the hottest girl on the planet. Usually the girls that dress sexy and look great are not the ones that guy want to take home to their mom... it's the average looking girls with the killer personality who will win in the long run.

Who says you are an average looking girl? With the right hair and makeup you probably look like a model. Go for what you want in life, never quit. In the long run you will always come out a winner.

Sure! I love this girl, I mean she's cute, not hot, but she has actually calmed me down alot and showed me how to be a great person and we just love each other. No other guys like her, but she is great and truly cares about people, and that is what most guys really want. We learn about each other and that is what we enjoy because we are both interesting people

there is no such thing as an average looking girl
all girls have beauty about them and once they realise that they are all sexy!!
of course its true - beauty comes from within and is in the eyes of the beholder - be confident in your own beauty - thats what any decent guy will see

Im gone be real. She can get him, but she gonna have to step her game up as far as looks. Because the competition will make him sway off. This is real. If she puttin money in his pockets, that will keep him, but who wants to be seen in public with someone whos not that pretty? He will stare at other women too whos above average. Im a man. so listen.
