Dating is not for kids... it's for adults. So may teens are throwing it all away for dating and so many teens are getting hurt playing this "game". I wish all of you young people would realize that dating is for mature adults who understand what commitment means and are mature and able to handle a relationship. I think if this was happening, we wouldn't have half the divorces that we have.
Please tell me why you are doing it and why you don't understand why dating is not for kids.

Because..they dont have any adults telling them not to do it. If no one guides teens, then no one can follow. I'm a teen and my parents dont let me date because they say im not ready for commitment. Adults need to talk more to teens about it.

Dating is how you learn what you want in a relationship for the future, I dated a few guys through out high school , nothing came to a future with any of them, I consider it a learning experiance and to have a great friend maybe in the end.

Kids date now-a-days because it is the in thing and most kids feel like they need the experience before their parents had it. Just have the birds and the bees talk with them.

Obviously you didn't date when you were young. Or otherwise you wouldn't ask this question. Teenagers are young adults. They might not have the experiences you have, but they are learning. Its for the experience. They will learn with time.

it's for kids, people used to get married when they where 18 and 19 and ar still married till this day! i know many couples in highschool are so happy with each other. people used to get married at 15. Don't you rememeber dating when u where younger? stop being so critical.
plus you have to learn about getting hurt when your younger or your just going to be destroyed when your older
you learn everything about dating when your young

i have 2 things to say.
first don't u remember how u fell in love when u were a teen?(i suppose u'r a grown up cause u r in adult side). didn't u feel like to go anywhere for u'r crush?
second, my parents met when they were 13. and my family is still happy, so if u'r dating young it doesn't mean it's not for real
