They broke the law by coming here illegally and now they will get rewarded,who said crime doesn't pay?now what is this stupid president that wants to give them amnesty tell the thousands of people that have been waiting for years to come here the legal way,his excuse that illegals will be at the back of the line don't wash,since they are already here and getting the benefits,what this country needs is to replace every senator that signed that insane immigration bill and hope George W Bush will go away quietly into the sunset

I have lived in Southern California for over 50 years. In 1980 it was starting to become a bit too much for our system to fairly take care of an not do an injustice to those of us who had already immigrated to the USA. President Reagan gave an amnesty back in 1986, but we did nothing to stop or even slow the influx of people just sneaking into the country. Now our schools, hospitals, and everything else are way over taxed. We now have a big problem that is why everyone is talking about it.

I think that illegal immigrants should be able to come and work and try to become United States citizens. They are here for a reason and most of them are trying to become as free as they can get. There are some that don't belong here because they are here to ruin the unity that we have but most United States citizens are doing the same. We are all about unity and diversity and if we keep people out, then we would have to change our whole aspect of the United States of America.

You know, I'm really tired of illegal immigrants calling us Racist. (Referring to the above statement.) This is our country not theirs. I think we have the right to complain about things going on in our country and our government that we don't like. Isn't that our right?
I don't understand how anyone can go to another country (they obviously don't like theirs) and complain about it. They pay taxes huh? Geeze that's a shame. And when they want a loan to open a business who do they get it from? Can you go into their country and get a loan to open a business? I don't think so.
And where do they think they have the right to protest our government? They don't understand....they don't have rights here. When they become American Citizens, then I'll listen.
It has nothing to do with racisim. I don't care what anyones skin color is. They don't understand that. So, do I think they should stay in America??? NO. They have 2 options as far as I can see. Go Home or Become a Citizen. And don't tell me about racisim!!!!

yes, yes, yes, and I will vote yes. Because they are good people just like the whites, blacks, Chinese, Asians, Pakistanis and every other immigrant that came to this country. They work hard, pay taxes, and have a very nice culture. They don't bother me at all so why would I want them out!! Plus God made this land for every one without putting restrictions. It is just the Devil who is trying to make humanity fight for something that God gave us all. Not being share-full and shy-sty is a sin. I don't want to live in Sin. I believe there is a heaven and want to live in it when I die.

I think opportunities should be made for them to become citizens if they desire to be here. Easier opportunites than they already have.
Unless they are obvious criminals.
They come to the US for a reason, so that alone speaks highly that most do cross the border looking for better opportunites for their famileys.

They are overcrowding schools, they don't pay taxes, OUR taxes pay for their medical coverage, so they're basically getting all the same rights we do...but don't have to pay for it, lovely.
If they keep coming in over the border, then eventually the U.S. will be just as bad as Mexico! Why don't they try improving their own country before coming to ours.
