They do in Texas. They can order anything they want. I am not sure who prepares it, though. Below is a web site about it.

Yes they do. And it comes from wherever they order it if the prison kitchen does not make the meal. For example if they want a burger and fries it comes from the regular prison kitchen. But if they way a Whopper and fries it comes from Burger King. Or if they want specifically a Dominoes pizza it come from Dominoes.

Most states do grant that request because I have seen news articles reciting what a person's last meal was.

They do get a last meal they usually ask for something and they bring it in from outside it depends on what they want on who makes it they could just want McDonalds

Yeah. My step-dad was the Warden at a max security pen. They cook em' (the inmate, not the meal) where I grew up and they do.

Yes they do..I had a relative who was executed and he turned down his last meal request.They cater it or cook it in their kitchen..whatever is needed.
