Just to make it easy for you to distinguish at a glance, where the boundaries of each country are. You will notice that map makers are free to choose any colours they want for any countries they want, so there is no 'correct' colour for any particular country.

To make the borders of the countries easier to see. The colors also happen to be the most favorite color voted on by the country's people.
