Is the significance of the number seven in Matthew 7:1 meaning that it is holy?

think about it:
Matthew has 7 letters
It is in the 7th chapter of Mattew
The quote 'judge not, that ye be not judged' has seven syllables.

that's 777!

super holy? or no?

It's just a numbers. There's nothing holy except God. What really can you achieved by finding things that has 777 value in it?

I don't know about the number thing, but I sure do like the verse. I think the world would be a bit better place if all Christians actually followed that verse.

no, i really dont think so. the whole Bible is the Spirit-breathed Word of God, and thats hardly a reason for one verse to be 'more holy' than the rest of it
