As a Christian, the Da Vinci code doesn't make me question my faith. I do know however, that there is a lot out there that we weren't taught in Sunday School or church. There's a lot that isn't in the Bible. A lot of what was in the code is made up, but some of the ideas have been around for centuries. Scholars have asked the question about Jesus being married for a long time.

I do question man's influence in certain pieces but I'm still a Christian and I don't question that. But the Da Vinci Code should not be the topic, here, that was a fictional story. You should use that other book (I don't remember the name) that raised the topic.

But if ,for instance, the whole theory were true, I don't think that would change my mind about Christ. I don't think marriage or no marriage has anything to do with it.

First, you need to understand that the book, along with the movie based on the book, was a work of fiction.

At the very end of the movie, after all the credits were done, was the standard disclaimer, "All people and events depicted in this movie are fictitious. Any resemblence to actual people and events is purely coincidental" (or something to that effect).

The same disclaimer is seen in such movies as Superman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc, etc.

This has no effect on the Truths of Christianity any more than Winnie the Pooh has.

So you're going to question the whole religion of Christianity on a made-up book and movie?

Sure people wonder if what was taught to them was the truth, but there comes a time when you accept it as being true or find your own beliefs. Not based on a highly-popularized, fiction, bestseller either.

One day someone will make a movie about how a crazy jewish idea that God wants a blood sacrifice of His own son became doctrine for billions. This is the greatest con job in history.the da vinci code os pap for the multitude, and doesn't even scratch the surface of the Cathloic Church's scandals and atrocities.

Well, it seems that some people have trouble telling fact from fiction. The Da Vinci Code is fiction. The Bible, well, I shall leave that one as an exercise for the reader...

Well firts off, are you going to trust God or some freak named Da Vinci who decided to mix things up! wuz HE there when God have Moses write the scrolls? NO or we HE there when ALL that stuff happend back then, or when Crist dies? no...plus the Da Vinci code doesnt pass the three tests, the bibliographic test, the external test, and the internal test...but geuss wut does, the Bible. Thats arciological proof. and OF course we were taught the truth. God is real and He gave us the TRUTH so we could be belivers and hid dsciples, He wouldnt of given us lies. Jesus said, " I am the Word, and the Word is in Me"

The da vinci code is fictional. Dan Brown even said so.

I am just about to complete my book about DaVinci Code.

Once I find a publisher and it is printed I send you free copy. In my book I engage you in a process to see how money was the center of it all. In the words of the movie star actor, it was all nonsense and should not be taken seriously.
Christ is real and has always been question yet prove to be real. Today Christianity is the worlds largest religion.
