What is the deal with the numbers 666?

Question

Those numbers represent Nero (Julius Ceasar)! How come all of a sudden it describes Lucifer (devil or satan)?

Where in the bible does it say that Lucifer (satan or devil) was an antichrist?

Wasn't the only thing Lucifer was known for is being a jealous angel?

In the book of Revelations, 666 is the mark of the Beast.
Lucifer is NOT the antichrist, the antichrist is the servant of Lucifer.

The numbers 6 6 6 in the Bible represents the sign of those individuals who have denounce Jesus as their savior and joined with the Antichrist in the last days. If you read in revelations, they describe the things that will happen in the last days. If you are still here, Lord forbid, there will come a time when the Antichrist and its rulers will ask you to choose. If you choose their side then a mark will be place on your head to determine who is on their side or not (the infamous 6 6 6, or the mark of the beast). Times will be crucial, people will starve and suffer tremendously, therefore making it almost impossible not to choose their side because those who don't may be slayed or martyrs for Jesus Christ. We know that Lucifer is the Devil or Satan, because in the beginning when he was thrown out of heaven, God cast him into the pit of the earth (darkness), along with a host of angels, who were never to see heaven again. They were jealous of God and all he stood for. Lucifer wanted to be equal to God and we know that it could never be. Anyone opposite of God has to be Satan or the devil.

the Bible does not say that Lucifer was an antichrist; neither does it say he was THE Antichrist.
Lucifer is commonly accepted as the angel who fell and became Satan.
an antichrist is anyone who tries to deceive the followers Christ.
THE Antichrist is one who will fulfill many of the eschatological prophecies. the term antichrist is only found in the letters of John.

Lucifer was an envious angel, not a jealous one.

My answer would constitute a major departure from others. 666 is a man's number and not that of the Devil. The number is in operation today. It is not a literal number. It is symbolic. It is not any more literal as the dragon, woman sitting on a wild beast, the wild beast e.t.c. Revelation 1:1 makes clear that the vision being presented to John from God through Christ and through the angel are in signs (another word for symbol). The number 666 is the number of the beast or the antichrist. He will show up in a period of time (after the church is gone) that is called the tribulation period when the wrath of God is poured out on the earth. He will rule the world with Satan and the false prophet for seven years and the Lord Jesus Christ will come and defeats him. There are many arguments as to why that particualy number 666 was chosen to be his number. What the true answer is, I do not know. All I know or care about is the fact that the bible says it is the number fo the beast (Antichrist). Antichrist is Satan in Flesh, just as Christ was God in Flesh.

Its the numbers of the beast, anyway its just because in Hell, Michigan, USA they had this huge Info thing, they day 666 is supposed to be a cursed day, and apparently the day when the world comes to an end.
