There are 5 requirements you should fulfill to become a Muslim, these are: 1- you should say out loud that there is no God except Allah, and that Muhammad is his messenger. 2- You should pray 5 times a day by reciting some of the books found in the Quran. 3- You should pay some of your money to the poor by acknowledging the significance of giving the needy. 4- You should Fast one month every year, namely the month of Ramadan. 5- you should go to pilgrimage to Mecca and accomplish the rules for this very important part for being a Muslim. If you do all those, then you become a muslim.

If anyone has a real desire to be a Muslim and has full conviction and strong belief that Islam is the true religion ordained by Allah for all human-beings, then, one should pronounce the "Shahada", the testimony of faith, without further delay.
The Shahada can be declared as follows:
"ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH".
The English translation is:
"I bear witness that there is no deity (none truely to be worshipped) but, Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah",

All that is required of you to embrace Islam right now as you are reading these lines is to pronounce al-shahaadatain, or the two confirmations and attestations of faith, to the best of your ability. Perfect pronunciation of the Arabic letters is not required, and the following is a transliteration of the phrases with English letters to help you:
ash-hadu an laa ilaahah illallaah (I bear witness and attest that there is no god worthy of worship but the One God Allaah)
ash-hadu anna muhammad-ar-rasool ullaah (I bear witness and attest that Muhammad is the messenger of Allaah)

Know more about Islam.
Try to obey God as much as you can.
Trust Allah and he will help you.
Try to find some true Muslim around you and ask him/her to help you step by step.
Never give up.
It deserves patience.
I hope that God guides us to the straight path.
Peace be upon you all.

haven't you said your shahada yet?
you have to believe in heart and declare it with your lips in front of a witness as well. This is just a formality
