Their relationship could be going through a rough time, they could just be dirtbags, or they're insecure, or just really, really horny. There are so many reasons for people to cheat, it's crazy. It's more important to look at reasons why couples DON'T cheat. They respect each other, they love each other, and they only want to be with the other person. Communication is a good, good thing.

Although we are all humans, some people can control themselves and not cheat others cant. And if you sit there and say, "i would never cheat" you are a lier, although you might never do it, it has definately crossed your mind. Everyone thinks of cheating, but not everyone will act on the deep lust of cheating. Feeling a new persons body is passionate and exciting, that is why people cheat.

When you cheat someone, you are surely not in love with him/her. You are just excited, you like the way he/she kisses you, but you always are looking to find a better person. When you are really in love, you don't want to lose this emotion for nothing, you don't want to cheat your lover, to hurt him, to make him cry and suffer.

Sometimes, the relationship can feel complete with the exception of a void. When me and my exbf got together, everything was great. He was a great person to talk to and we always had fun together. But I had desires that he couldn't attend to because of his principles. Whether it's a void of sexuality, not being able to be together (long distance), communication issues, etc., it would be easy for people to find another person to fill that void. It takes integrity to stay with someone and stay faithful or it takes the truly perfect guy for you.

I agree with Driver...i don't think it's true love. I'm in love and will never cheat on my boyfriend because he's good to me and i could never do that. I've been tempted but i can't because he's all i can think about.

It's easy for most people to say I love you. Its a very different thing to mean it. I would say most people really don't know what love is. It is unconditional, and I would say most of us don't really know what it is like to have that kind of love. So, people who cheat don't really love each other, they just think they do, b/c they don't really know what love is. But, people do make mistakes and if it was a one time thing, then it is possible that there is really love there.

If they love each other they would not cheat. Thats the correct statement. If they love the person, they would not try to hurt them.

Tough question- depends on each couple's circumstances. It might be that they DO still love each other but they're at a point where they feel emotionally/physically frustrated- or they don't love each other and actually want to move on but other factors- kids/parents- are stopping them.

Talk is cheap! What is said sometimes is not what is felt. Besides, who fells love? There never is true love. Remember! Talk is cheap, so everybody can cheat.
