No, a family consists of separate and distinct individuals. God is 1 God, consisting of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and they are all part of 1 God, not three separate individuals as a family is.

sort of in a way, but not really a family. God is 1 person and 3 persons at the same time. its just the nature of the Trinity. its not really something we can understand, but when you think about it thats kind of a cool thing. God should be beyond our understanding- if He werent He wouldnt be God! the best we can do is think of him as one person with 3 forms. its important to remember that all 3 parts are one God though!
