Yes, I believe there is one true God- the God of the Bible. First of all, I believe because I was brought up to believe it. Secondly, I've seen him answer prayers in my personal life. My grandmother was going to have to have heart surgery because one or two of here arteries were blocked. My mother and I prayed that she would be cured and that she wouldn't have to have heart surgery. We got a phone call about two days later saying that when she went in to the doctor they looked again, and all the blockages were gone. I believe it was a miracle. A third reason that I believe in God is because of the world. Someone or something had to make this world. No one with their head screwed on straight would say that -BOOM- the world is formed as perfectly as it is. NO. You can say that the Bible isn't true and that the Bible doesn't justify that there is a God. I disagree. I believe that the Bible is totallly true. Some parts may be dreams and symbolisms and not real occurences-like the book of Revelation-but I believe that the Bible is totally true. My school's chaplain preached on how people try to disprove the Bible by saying that things such as the sun standing (Joshua) still didn't really happen. He said that scientists had discovered a scientific and historical explanation for it. I don't remember all the detail, but everything matched up. Yes because there are so many (thus far) inexplicable phenomena. I don't believe in commandments or a set religion, so i suppose i believe in god in a general sense- without definition of gender, preference, judegemental basis.
Why? I'm too well read to agree with a single religion, or even atheism, whole-heartedly enough to accept a certain image of god.

No, just because parents tell their kids about god, doesn't mean he actually exists. Btw, I was never lied to about Santa Clause or the Easter bunny.
Some ppl found all these different books and some council, decided what went into the bible and what didn't.
I Can't See How It's Any Different Than, Greek Mythology !!!

Of course. Believing in God isn't an easy thing to do because you are constantly looking for some kind of logical proof or sign, especially when something bad happens to you, a loved one, or in the world. It takes a lot to believe in God on faith, but that is something that I do every day. Faith isn't easy, and it definitely isn't for everyone... we're all different people after all. =)

Why, you ask? I'm deeply humbled for I still can't fathom the mysteries of His Works that we see around us and the Wisdom He established in our World...
Witness the grass, the herbs, the flowers, the trees, the birds, the bees, the denizen and beasts, the forests, the clouds, the rains, the springs, the rivers and oceans, the fishes of the sea, the creatures of the deep, the glory of sunrise, and the splendor of sunsets, the full moon, and the sparkle of heavenly bodies in a cloudless night... And best of all, the intelligence and beauty of Mankind!
That's sheer poetry of CREATION itself, one that gives us pause to wonder in awe the Nature of God and to appreciate His Love...

I believe in god.... I believe in creator who is god. Humans see religion not god and that is why I believe there is so much confusion in the word. When I see god I see nature and natural cycles which reflect his law

Yes, because God is our creator, and loves us, thats why God sacrificed his only son for forgiveness of our sins. I feel the presence of the Lord since I have accepted him. I feel and can see all the wonderful changes in my life.
