why do you want a man like that to be the role model for your child? do you want your baby girl growing up thinking it's ok for a man to treat her like that? or your baby boy to start treating women that way when he's older?
it's crap, and it's an excuse, kick him out, make him stay away, and call the cops if you have to
no woman should put up with that

No one has the right to abuse another human being.
It would be best for you and the baby if you left him. Find a group that help women in the same situation as you are in now. Most countries have shelters/group or organizations that help women.
Think of your future. Think of your child.
You're not alone, there are others who are also in the same situation. You don't have to be alone. And most importantly, you don't have to stay in that kind of relationship. If you have relatives nearby you can go to, then go there to get yourself organized to start a new life.

For your own sake get him to get help before the baby is born,if he fails then please end the relationship for the sake of the kid.Its better to be a single parent with a well balanced child than in a violent relationship which will mess up the kids head.By all means let him see the kid only if you feel he can be trusted.Good luck!

Get out as soon as you can there are alot of places you can go. If you don't have family or friends go to a shelter and be safe. For you and the baby becareful. There are people that will help you.
